Product Design Graduation Internship at Aqqo
Are you ready to kick-start your career in Product Design? Aqqo, a leading developer of venue management software, offers a challenging graduation internship from September 2024 to February 2025. Join our team and contribute to a command palette feature that will be used daily by more than 1,100 users.
What will you do?
Aqqo aims to provide users with more flexibility in searching for reservations, users, and invoices. During your internship at Aqqo, you will focus on designing and developing a command palette within our software. This project includes:
- Quick search: A semantic search function that helps users quickly search for bookings, invoices, and user data.
- Quick actions: Directly accessible actions to enhance the efficiency of the user experience.
- Suggestions: Offers users suggestions for (search) results or quick actions based on previous (search) actions.
Technical Challenges:
Next to visual design in Figma and technical implementation in Next.js, the biggest challenge during your internship will be optimizing performance due to the high frequency of database requests by the command palette feature. This presents an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in solving complex technical problems in a real-world environment.
Who are we looking for?
- Product Design Students: You are an HBO student in Product Design, Interaction Design, UX/UI Design, or a related field of study.
- Creative Problem Solvers: You have a strong portfolio that demonstrates your skills and previous work, even if these are school or personal projects.
- User-Centric Thinkers: You can design with the end user constantly in mind, and you understand the importance of centering user needs in the design process.
- Technical Skills: You are familiar with industry-standard design tools; experience with Figma and Next.js are a plus.
