As the first product marketer within our team, you will have the opportunity to set up a strategy from the ground upto implement. You are the architect of our product-market approach.
Our software is used at more than 2,000 locations in the Netherlands and Belgium. We have these locations up tocurrently mainly sales-driven. That will change, our ambitions are great.
Our software is hereready for and we want to market our product in such a way that leads can onboard themselves and immediatelyexperiencing value.We will expand further in the coming year. That is why we are looking for reinforcement on many fronts within our organization. With a team of 30+ colleagues, we are growing quickly and want to remain flexible and scalable. If you have a good idea, we can think of it today, test it tomorrow and realize it the day after tomorrow.
What does your work look like?
You can take on different roles with leads and customers, the emphasis is on existing customers.
Overview of your role and responsibilities:
- You give customers insight into the product and the market and you can empathize with the problems customer.
- Building relationships is your nature. You can quickly build relationships within (semi-)government and commercial customers.
- You know when to contact a colleague for new customers or leads (e.g. logo clients).(founder or specialist) and does this in a timely manner.
- You map the customer (DMUs, questions) and you ensure that you maintain this overview.
- You help customers make good choices for the entire application landscape.
- You can map out the customer's complete landscape, which parts are still needed possible in the future?
- You prepare quotes, send them and follow them up.
- You ensure a smooth transition to your colleagues in a new assignment.
- You are responsible for the contract value, sales, during the entire term of the contract cycles and the contract conditions.
- In terms of toolstack, you mainly work in Hubspot, you know your way around or will find your way through it HubSpot Academy
- You report weekly in the sales team meeting.
- You preferably have experience with tenders.
To get to know the product well, you may be involved in customer onboarding in the role of implementation consultant. As a consultant, you supervise the implementation from A to Z together with the project leader. You draw up implementation plans and provide explanation sessions to the customer. You can create one together with the project leader make realistic planning and you can take over each other's work. You learn the system from A to Z know and can take the customer into account.
Who are you?
- You have 5+ years of work experience as an account manager.
- You have experience with software implementations at municipalities or semi-governmental organizations.
- You are motivated to become a domain expert and deliver quality.
- You preferably have accounting knowledge and understand the importance of completeness revenue recognition for our customers.
- You want to understand everything in the rental of (sports) accommodations market. You are going to become a consultant for our customer in the field of cash register, lighting, access control and building management systems
- You are stress-resistant, independent and flexible.
- You are flexible, if help is needed in the team, you offer it.
- You take responsibility with customers and act professionally in difficult situations.
- You are someone who works accurately and properly records and follows up activities/actions (CRM).
